Dear Families of Students in Grades 3 through 5,
Last week we were informed by the Department of Education that families will need to OPT IN to state testing this year. Unlike in previous years, where the default was that students would take state exams unless a parent opted them out, this year the DOE is requiring that families who want their children to take the state test(s) actively opt in to testing. Families must complete one of the forms linked below, no later than Thursday, April 15th, if they want their children to take the state tests this year.
Fully-Remote Families: The New York State tests can only be given in person at school. If you want to opt your child IN to state testing this year, please complete the survey linked below. (If you have already completed the form, you do not need to submit it again.)

Wednesday, June 9th- Cohort B
