Spring Rummage Sale - May 3rd!

The Rummage Sale is a favorite event for the entire neighborhood!

PS29 families – and community members too – bring textiles and clothing to the PS29 Cafeteria (enter through Henry) on May 3rd. Clothing can be dropped off anytime between 9 am and 2 pm on the day of the event.

Clothing and shoes are offered for sale at just $2! Unsold clothing and textiles will be recycled by Wearable Collections. Stained & ripped clothing and textiles welcome to recycle, not to sell. Clothing for sale until 3 pm.

Electronics Recycling also available from 4th Bin from 9 am to 2 pm.

Another fun thing to do—volunteer to lend a hand. This is a very welcoming and low-key event, so if you’re looking to volunteer more but don’t know where to start, the Rummage Sale is a very good entry point. We especially need volunteers for the clean up shift from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.

Student Volunteers - 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are welcome to volunteer and participate on their own. Please include the student's name on the sign up, but fine to use either parent or student's email, whatever you are comfortable with. 

Parent volunteers are also welcome to bring their kid along to help if they're interested (1st grade and up suggested).
