Dear Parents and Families of PS29,
Congratulations, you’ve survived the holiday chaos! Now it’s time to mark your calendars for the most celebrated event at PS29 – the 2020 Gala + Auction on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 26 Bridge in Dumbo!
This year we’re taking it easy...in the Big Easy! Escape to the soulful sounds of New Orleans in what promises to be an amazing night out with cocktails, food by Cloud Catering, live music, and dancing.
Get your tickets today! Early bird tickets are on sale now through February 14th. The venue has a limited capacity and we have sold out the past two years. Reserve early and tell your friends to do the same!
There are three ways you can help!
1. Donate or solicit donations for experiences, merchandise, or services:Do you have a weekend home? Do you have access to backstage passes to an event? Are you a business owner that likes to support public education? Do you have a friend, neighbor, or relative who can donate a unique experience, a service, or tickets to an event? Do you have a special skill to teach? Check out this list of “60 Great Donation Ideas” for inspiration.
Donation items may be submitted here (preferred method). A hard copy will also be backpacked home and additional forms are available in the PTA office, Room 105.
2. Help us find business sponsors to underwrite the event:
Do you own or run a local business or have a friend who does? Sponsoring the PS29 Gala + Auction is a great way for local business owners to grow awareness while making a tax-deductible contribution.
Sponsorships opportunities are available from $500 to $3,000. Please email Chelsea or Constance at ps29auction@gmail.com for more information.
