PS29 Benefit & Auction 2026!

Dear PS29 Parents, Families and Friends:

Mark your calendars! This year’s Benefit & Auction will take place on Thursday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at Strong Rope Brewery in Red Hook. As our biggest fundraiser of the year, the event is a joyful evening of community and spirited bidding—all in support of PS29. This year’s theme, Night on the Canal, sets the scene for an Italian evening—fresh pasta, artisan gelato and cold drinks on the waterfront, with music and dancing to follow. There will also be an exciting opportunity to bid on a curated selection of special items and experiences at our live auction. And just as important, the event is a fantastic way for parents to connect with friends and meet other families in a relaxed setting far from the rush of dropoff and pickup.

Tickets are on sale!

Early bird tickets are available for $120 now through April 28, after which they will be $140. Space is limited—and this event sells out every year—so we encourage you to reserve your spot soon.

NEW - Ticket Raffle!

New this year, we’re also offering a raffle for event tickets. Enter for a chance to win either a pair of tickets or a single ticket, with entries open now through Tuesday, April 21 at 5 p.m.

Childcare during the event

Need a babysitter? We have teamed up with Champions Martial Arts on Court and Degraw. Drop your child off from 6:30 - 9 p.m. for a fun night with their friends while you have fun with yours! $30 for activities and pizza. Champions is donating the proceeds back to PS29. So it’s a win, win, win!  There are only 35 spots available, so sign up asap.

Auction Item Donation

The heart of our auction is the incredible generosity of this community. We are only about halfway to our item donation goal and looking to add more special items to this year’s lineup. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference. If you have something unique, unusual, or simply fun to share, we’d love to include it—experiences, classes, art, services, event tickets, vacation stays, handmade goods, or anything delightfully unexpected.
