15TH ANNUAL BROOKLYN PTA FUN RUN
Run/walk/scoot with us on Saturday, Oct 28th at 10:00 AM in Prospect Park!
Every year, families across the borough come together for the Brooklyn PTA Fun Run for Schools. Together, we raise funds for the neediest schools, champion wellness and take on 5K as a community. It's for all: young, old, walkers, runners, strollers! Sign up children ($5) and/or adults ($25) for the PS 29 school group. Then meet at 9:15am at Bluestone rink cafe for the 10am start.

Description Council Member Shahana Hanif and the PTAs of Brooklyn’s public schools are coming together for the 15th annual PTA 5K+ run/walk/stroll/toddle/scoot in Prospect Park. The race will take place on Saturday, October 28 at 10 AM. Bib pickup and pre-race activities will begin at 9:00 AM.
For over a decade now, the PTA Fun Run has demonstrated the tremendous strength of our local public school communities. Parents, students, and educators have turned out in droves to show what it means to build community and work together on critical issues facing our public schools. Net proceeds from your registration fee will go to our neediest schools.
The Fun Run will be a 3.3 mile loop, starting and finishing on the main park drive just outside the LeFrak Center. The run will start at 10 AM. Bib distribution and pre-race activities will begin inside the LeFrak Center starting at 9 AM. As a fun run, we welcome everyone-- young, old, experienced ad not, runners, walkers, strollers, tricycles, scooters, wheelchairs-- all are invited to join!
