We're excited to remind you that PS 29's All Are Welcome Fest is happening next Thursday, May 1st from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in our schoolyard. Everyone is invited!

Dear Families,
Our P.S. 29 teachers and staff are delighted to invite all of our students and their families to join us for an evening of joy and community building in our school yard on Thursday, May 1st from 5 to 6:30 PM!
This All Are Welcome event will include a potluck representing cultures, identities and traditions across our school, as well as activities including music, dance, art, and science.
We believe that the strength of our P.S. 29 community lies in its diversity, and our desire to learn from each other about our varied lived experiences. We honor this through our heritage months, Culture in our Community events, student affinity groups, and our social-emotional and social studies curricula. This year we are excited to add the All Are Welcome event to the collection of initiatives that celebrate our community and bring families together to get to know each other. Our entire PS 29 staff will be attending this event!
Please see the attached flyer, save the date, and RSVP as soon as possible if you plan to attend. We look forward to gathering with you on May 1st to acknowledge and celebrate the many different cultures, identities and traditions that make up PS 29.
