29 Cheers this Thursday, 10/8!
Our most adults-only event of the year is this week - 29 Cheers is this Thursday, October 8, from 5-8 p.m.
You can buy tickets online now, and pick them up at 8:30 a.m., 2:40 p.m., or 4:20 p.m. on October 8 on the corner of Henry St and Kane St. You can also buy tickets in person at the table on October 8 or at the event itself.
How does Cheers work? Well, each ticket gets you one drink and one light bite, so we recommend buying two to three (four?) tickets per person depending on your thirst and appetite. Each grade has a suggested meeting point to start the night, as follows:
Pre-K & Kindergarten: Light Switch (Court & Sackett)
Menu:
Drinks: Draft beer or wine (Albarino or Nero D'avola)
Food: butter bean dip - served with bread; spicy eggplant & labneh dip - served with bread; romesco - served with veggie crudite.
1st & 2nd Grade: Bar Bruno (Union & Henry)
Menu:
Drinks: Margarita or draft/bottled beer
Food: Chips and Guac
3rd Grade: Bar Ferdinando (Union & Hicks)
Menu:
Drinks: Beer, wine or spritz
Food: Ricotta Crostini
4th & 5th Grade: Popina (Columbia & Kane)
Menu:
Drinks: Wine, Negroni or beer
Food: Ricotta Crostini
